Good Evening Everyone!

What an adventure packed day we have had!

The first thing to know is that everyone is safe and happy!

As you know, we set off on our Journey to Normandy on 2 different buses. Grade 4 were lucky enough to have the musical talent of Mr Vance, who strummed the guitar to some of the childrens favourite songs! We then had Laura and Maribel who sang a duet, along to the guitar, on the microphone. The rest of the bus then joined them. You will see some photos of this below. Students also enjoyed drawing some pictures on the bus.

When we arrived at our residence in Normandy, we were spoiled with a three-course lunch. All dietary requirements were well catered for.

Grades 3 then set off on a boating adventure (on the shore) and half of grade 4 visited The Biscuit Factory, whilst the other half went fisihing. The inverse of this will be done tomorrow. I was lucky enough to be with the fishing group today, where students worked in pairs with a net, to find some interesting sea creatures and shells in the ocean. Students then put these into one of 4 buckets, which they emptied into a 'group aquarium'. We then went back to our residence, had a snack, unpacked, had a warm shower, and prepared for dinner.

As I am typing this blog, the students have just finished another delicious three course meal for dinner, and are playing one of three games. Soon they will be all tucked up in bed, and ready for what is sure to be a good nights sleep!

Enjoy the attached photos - if you cannot see your child in these photos, please don't worry - that simply means that I was with a different group during a particular activity (It may take a while for the photos to appear, due to the slow internet connection here).

Until tomorrow .... Goodnight :)
